What is linguistic testing

Linguistic testing is a check of a translated and localized product (website, app, game, blog, etc.).

It is performed to make sure for all the components of the user interface, such as menus, windows, buttons, to be displayed correctly. After all, when translated into another language, the length of some words changes significantly and they may look incorrect. Beside that, it is essential to make sure that all translated phrases correspond to the text in the original.
