    The company faced quite a challenge: to do the juridical translation of 1,336 pages within 10 days. It was equally important for the client to receive the work on time and to have it done on high quality level.

    Our task was to correctly translate 1336 pages from Ukrainian to English in 10 days, observing the deadline.

    Quotation and terms

    The project manager divided the files by categories: accusation, appeal, sentence, decision, seizure of property. We had to find legal translators for each category, get their confirmation and compile a glossary.

    Resources optimization

    9 specialized legal translators and editors were working on 1,336 pages of the project, 3 additional translators were kept in the event of unforeseen circumstances. The translators were exchanging the term base through the whole process.

    Workflow

    The project manager distributed the load between the linguists and set the deadlines for each file. The files were sent to the client on a daily basis. The translators detected mistakes in terminology in the source documents in the process of work.
