Our task was to promptly translate the content into 6 languages, given that the French version was as urgent and priority as possible.

It was necessary to translate two files (in Word and Excel) into 6 languages in 5 days.

Quotation and terms

To get a project quote was quite a challenge, as it was necessary to consider all the aspects of the technical task. In fact, there were 2 quotes, as we offered two pricing options and ways to work with Chinese dialect.

Resources optimization

The client prepared a detailed terms of reference describing in detail what and how to translate. For convenience, the terms of reference were arranged in excel format with several tabs. Also, the client marked the lines with codes.

Workflow

We gathered a team of translators for all languages and discussed the intermediate deadlines of the finished texts with everyone. The translation into French (most urgent) was passed to the client first.
