    Translation into Finnish

    Interpretation or translation from Russian into Finnish may seem simple just at first glance: there are no articles and gender, the future tense is not used, and words are pronounced as they are written, with one letter representing one sound. And only the linguists of MK:translations LSP, who have been working with this language pair for 10 years, know about all the difficulties and pitfalls:

    • there are 36 verb tenses, and using them incorrectly can distort the text’s authenticity;
    • long and short vowel phonemes can change a word’s meaning based on their length alone;
    • Reverse and forward consonant alternation is used.

    The Finnish language is developing intensively. There is an increasing number of borrowed words and slang from English and Swedish in both colloquial and literary speech. Additionally, the scientific language is becoming more specific due to the abundance of technical and medical terms.

    MK:translations LSP provides translation services of varying complexity: interpretation and translation. By contacting our LSP, you will receive a full range of services: notarization, legalization, apostillization, and diploma and certificate nostrification for foreigners arriving in our country.

    Certified and notarized translation into Finnish

    If you need to translate official documents that you will use abroad in the future, avoid unprofessional freelance services. One of the translation options is required for international document management:

    • Certified — performed by a certified translator. The completed work is handed to the client along with a form containing details about the translator or LSP, and the accuracy of the provided information is verified with a stamp or seal and signature.
    • Notarized — a document is translated by a specialist in the field, and their signature and education are certified by a notary. In this context, the notary guarantees only the authenticity of the translator’s signature, not the accuracy of the translation or document contents.

    Please specify the type of services required for the authorities receiving the documentation package. Then MK:translations will provide informative support at all project stages.

    Ordering a translation from Russian into Finnish in Ukraine

    Our linguists can translate from Russian into Finnish various types of texts.

    • The most common services are personal and official document translations. The translation work’s complexity is linked to dealing with personal and institutional names. Despite the small textual volume of the standard form documents, it requires strict formatting of the final result.
    • Legal, banking, financial, and accounting translations require not only linguistic skills but also a deep understanding of these fields. This is what ensures accuracy, which is crucial for carrying out commercial activities.
    • Medical documentation is considered a distinct category within the field of translation practice. It requires knowledge of terminology, the correct selection of analogues between Russian and other languages. Rare language pairs, such as Urdu or Hindi, can cause special difficulties.

    Regardless of the complexity, specifics, and volume of information, our LSP guarantees high quality and strict adherence to translation principles.

    Please contact us if you need professional translators in Ukraine to assist with communication with foreign business partners or document preparation for travel abroad. Our range of services is not limited to working with documents. Apostilization, IT products
